About

This is my personal blog dedicated to interesting issues in conservation, sustainability and education.

Richard Jeo

I currently work for Conservation International (CI) as Senior Vice President for Asia Pacific Field Division. Before joining CI, I worked for The Nature Conservancy (TNC), for about 16 years, in Canada, Montana and the Caribbean.   I helped TNC with the 2009 Great Bear Rainforest agreements and was involved with many land deals in Montana as State Director.   Before TNC, I spent time in Namibia, and focused on education, cheetahs and black rhinos.   I spent the 90’s in graduate school at Caltech and got a Ph.D. in 1998.  I live in Singapore with my wife Tina and daughter Tristan.
